The Academy is an integral part in managing. It's almost a second club even if it takes less RL time than your senior club, but offering a completely different challenge.
Patience, reasoning and learning are the keys to your success.
You will also have to accept the fact that we cannot enjoy the full potential of our 16 players. You will have to make sacrifices and learn to recognize what are the sacrifices to do.
You will have to learn to accept your own mistakes, because we all do some, and they are not always all preventable. We're handling the unknown and try to do better on average. Yet despite this you can be a very good manager and make money... or train good young players for your senior team.
Over time you'll gain experience and gum slowly for these errors ultimately being more effective.
All this is the hattrick's Youth Academy, and I wish you to enjoy if you embrace it :)
